Luuk Knook

Luuk works as peilbeheerder (“water level manager”) at the Hoogheemraadschap Stichtse Rijnlanden. He studied civil engineering at the university of Twente. Together with his team he is responsible for the operational water management on the HDSR regional water system and for the development of water system control algorithms. Besides that he makes the required meteorological and hydrological information available for his colleagues for operational work.
